OTBT came to be while bartending at a local pub in Victoria's harbour. A young couple from Seattle WA sat on the other side of the bar enjoying local craft pints. When asked for recommendations of locations that showcased the true wonders of Vancouver Island, the bartender began to excitedly draw maps on the back of napkins and coasters directing them off the beaten track. An epiphany happened, a real 'Aha' moment, Off the Beaten Track Victoria became a reality. A few years later, adventure awaits for those tourists unsure of where to go. A business born at a bar.
